debbie-nolanYou may not be aware of this, however Debbie has worked with non-profits her entire career.  When she first began working with SCP in 2007, while planning the 2008 International Counseling Psychology Conference (ICPC), she already had nearly two decades of experience in non-profit management. Upon graduating from Florida State University (Communications,English minor), Debbie worked as events/PR director with the March of Dimes. Following this, she served as membership manager with the Florida Institute of CPA’s (FICPA) and during this time, she earned her Institute of Organization Management (IOM) designation. Realizing that association management was her passion, she moved to Chicago where she worked for nearly ten years with the Society of American Archivists (SAA), as membership development/conference director, deputy executive director, and interim executive director. While in Chicago, Debbie earned her Institute of Organization Management (IOM) and Certified Association Executive (CAE) designations. Shortly following her time with SAA, she and Gregory Brooks formed AMC Source, an association management company (AMC). Since then AMC Source has grown to a dozen staff including those who work with SCP: Rasheeda Wallerson, MBA, Irene Jung, CPA., and Lauren Thomas, the newest staff member, whose role is to facilitate conference and event planning.
