Kymbriona Taylor (she/her/hers) is a 2nd year doctoral student at the University of Missouri–Columbia under the mentorship of Dr. Brittany Beasley. She works at Mizzou as a Graduate Teaching Assistant for a cultural diversity course and is training as a practicum student at the Career Center. Her research interests include exploring mental health concerns and multicultural treatment considerations for the Black community, student athletes, and Deaf populations. She earned both her bachelor’s degree in Psychology and master’s degree in Education from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where she competed on the track and field team. Kymbriona loves to travel and spend time with family and friends. She is currently working on becoming fluent in American Sign Language.
