Brandon Scott Millspaugh: 2016-2018
Brandon Millspaugh M.A. was born and raised in Dayton, Ohio until moving to Indianapolis, Indiana at age 18. He received his Bachelor of Science in Psychology, with a minor in philosophy from Indiana University Purdue University Indianapolis in 2014. While pursuing his degree, Brandon spent 11 years working for Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield. He received his Master of Arts in Counseling in 2016 and is currently a first year doctoral student at Ball State University. Brandon co-authored and published a resource helping undergraduate college students to identify and investigate psychology and psychology-related careers. He has presented research at various undergraduate research conferences, the Midwestern Psychological Association annual meeting, and the American Psychological Association’s annual meeting. Brandon’s research interests include non-traditional student populations, including women in STEM fields, adult learners, and first generation college students, belonging, and clinical judgment. Brandon completed his master’s internship at a community health center and enjoyed co-leading a nine-hour a week, intensive outpatient addictions group.
