Neeta Kantamneni received her Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology in 2009 from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, her M.S. in Counseling from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and her B.S. in psychology from the University of Iowa. She is an assistant professor at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and teaches courses in career counseling, multicultural counseling, and gender and counseling along with other courses in the counseling psychology program. Dr. Kantamneni's research has focused primarily on examining contextual influences on vocational-decision making, with an emphasis on examining the career development process for individuals from marginalized and under-represented groups. Dr. Kantamneni has served on the editorial board of The Counseling Psychologist and serves as an ad-hoc reviewer for the Career Development Quarterly.
