Assistant Professor of Counseling

Applicants must have an earned doctorate in Counseling Psychology/Counselor Education or a closely related field, successful teaching experience in a graduate program in counseling, and demonstrated capacity for securing externally funded research. Preference will be given to graduates of an APA-accredited program, to applicants who are eligible for psychology licensure in Alabama, and to applicants with experience in a CACREP-accredited program. Responsibilities include teaching, research, and service consistent with the qualifications of the applicant and the needs of the department, and affiliation with the doctoral program in Clinical and Counseling Psychology and one of the master’s programs in the department.
