Psychology Faculty

Chatham University is seeking three full-time Assistant or Associate Professors in Psychology. Chatham offers three graduate programs in psychology: MA in Psychology; MS in Counseling Psychology; and PsyD in Counseling Psychology.

The full-time 12-month faculty members will teach and also conduct and supervise research in graduate counseling psychology programs (master’s and doctoral).

Requirements for the positions include: • Doctoral degree in Psychology (counseling, clinical, or applied psychology focus preferred) • Research agenda

Preferred qualifications include: Teaching experience and/or scholarly agenda in one or more of the following areas: • Multicultural issues and diversity • Statistics and research design • Environment, ecology, and sustainability • Community or organizational psychology

Chatham’s graduate programs in psychology are strong and vibrant, preparing students for work as master’s level licensed counselors, for application for doctoral study in psychology, and for work as counseling psychologists. The PsyD program is just completing its first year of operation, and has a unique focus on psychology for sustainable health and well-being. The programs are currently staffed by a total of ten faculty members from diverse backgrounds.
