The Department of Educational and Counseling Psychology of the School of Education at the University at Albany, SUNY seeks an Assistant or Associate Professor (tenure track) to teach in the APA-accredited Ph.D. program in Counseling Psychology and MPCAC accredited Master’s program in Mental Health Counseling.

Responsibilities include maintaining a research program with strong potential for external funding, teaching courses at the doctoral and masters levels, supervising doctoral dissertations, and supervising doctoral-level practica at the University’s training clinic. We are seeking an individual who will complement and add to the current scholarly interests of the Division of Counseling Psychology which includes vocational psychology, addictive behaviors and substance use, psychotherapy process and outcome, clinical supervision, health psychology and military veterans, multicultural counseling, cross-cultural psychology, and race-related health disparities. Applicants with various scholarly specializations and expertise in quantitative or qualitative methodologies are welcome to apply.
