As part of the Div. 17 Presidential Initiative, "Exploring Privilege," a 6 groups of on-going conversations were held in the Fall 2010 and Spring 2011 to explore our privileges (social class, race, sexual orientation, religion, ability, and so on). These groups involved members meeting via teleconference for a four-week professional development group during which members explored personal and professional awareness of privilege(s).
