Program Representatives Network |
| Patterned after
the APAGS
Advocacy Coordinating team, the SAS Program Representatives Network
consists of (a) a Network Coordinator who is a member of the SAS Executive
Board, (b) six regional coordinators and (c) a program representative from
each graduate program in counseling psychology. The list of current representatives
is available below. If you do not see a representative listed for your institution
and you would like to volunteer to become the rep or if you do not see your
institution listed, please contact Alexa Hanus and I-Ching Grace Hung, Network
Coordinators at sas.network.coordinator@gmail.com.
The purpose of the SAS Program Representative Network is to (a) provide students in counseling psychology programs with important information such as updates to the SAS website and member benefits, internship, research and career resources, and postdoctoral, academic and practice position openings, (b) foster greater connections between the various graduate programs in counseling psychology, (c) develop a network for the dissemination of information pertinent to counseling psychology students, (d) provide a mechanism for two-way communication between counseling psychology students and the SAS Executive Board, and (e) provide a method for grass roots advocacy within the Society of Counseling Psychology, the American Psychological Association and the communities in which counseling psychology students train and practice. |
